A project between subculture, politics and DIY spirit, with members – but not for fans – of Yacoepsae, Heaven Shall Burn, Lost Lyrics and Militant Mothers.
‚Have Mind – Will Travel‘ offers 19 songs in English – loud, direct, without detours. The lyrics range between social criticism, personal insights and cynical humour. In terms of content, the album is primarily characterised by Karl Nagel, whose lyrical signature runs through all the songs.
Despite the different backgrounds, a common sound emerges – raw but controlled, loud but focussed. Not a smooth production, but a conscious decision in favour of rough edges.
‘Have Mind – Will Travel’ is not a concept album. It offers 19 songs that cover a spectrum between resistance and retreat, departure and exhaustion and whose lyrics deliberately set contrasts and challenge the listener to engage with them.
